Some happy times with the boys

Here's Andy with Baby Adam after giving him his morning bath.
He was reading the soft book to Adam in which the animals said "It was naughty little Puppy!" *points promptly at Mavy* and that really cracked Adam up!

Andy felt guilty after making me mad and he made up by being super nice to me. What can I say?
Boysss.... Cant live with them, cant live without them. Hmmph..

We had a fantabulous weekend. We brought Adam back to my parents' and I'm reminded once again how lucky I am to have a fab family to egg me on.
I love my parents, Aunt LY, Grandma and siblings so much and I'm thankful that Adam will grow up in such an environment as well :)

SAHM

Yesterday it was the Lunar Ghost Festival's 15th day and we had to go to Andy's Grandma's house in the morning with Baby Kai to pray.
I woke up earlier than usual, had to bathe Kai, prepare his diaper bag, get myself bathed and changed.
As any parent can expect, such times are really a mad rush lor.
If you need a breakdown, here it is:
Gotta prepare baby's bath equipment, fill water, fill right amount of hot water to make water lukewarm, prepare a glass of cool boiled water, dampen cotton balls to wipe baby's face and clean his mouth, wash baby's hair, wash baby's body, dry baby, dress him, clear all the equipment.
Then after that, gotta pack his diaper bag.
Have to bathe and get myself ready.

Andy was still sleeping at that time.
When he woke up, he threw his temper at me for leaving my worn T-shirt on the bed and also not throwing away my half-drank Yakult and packet drink. "Cant you just finish the drink and throw it away? And why do you have to leave your clothes lying around? Can you be more tidy?"
I was SO ANGRY man!
We exchanged heated words because of this. He thinks SAHM very free ah? Got time to sit down sip drinks and put everything in place?!
I didnt even scold him for not helping out yet he can still turn the tables on me and scold me for being untidy?! WTH..

At that moment poor Kai was crying because we fought, and I just walked off.
Since he thinks Im so free and all... so I sat myself down at the kitchen to finish my drink and left Andy alone to carry and pacify Kai.

Seriosuly, what do these men think?!
I was already up to my neck caring for a baby, 2 dogs and myself. So what if a T-shirt is out of place?! So what if I didnt throw the drinks away? Has it occured to him that I dont have the TIME to finish my drink?

anyway we left for his Grandma's house and let this matter rest.
Then
.
.
.
In the evening back at home:
At about 5.30pm, Andy's mum needed to go to Grandma's house again to collect something. Before she left, she told me she wont be locking the door because Andy's Dad will be back any minute.
So OK, I went inside my room with Baby Kai and closed the room door because I need to pump my breasts..
When FIL came back, he was damn angry that the door wasnt locked and nobody was in the living room.
When I came out of my room with the EBM, I greeted him.. He replied by scolding me "Why you never lock the door?"
I explained that "Mum said dont need to lock cos you are coming back" and I just walked away, feeling damn PISSED OFF and FED UP!

Andy's Dad is those MCP kind who expects MIL to unlock door for him when he is home.
Sometimes when the door is locked he will comment "why need to lock?" meaning that he is coming back why lock the door.
Then now, she didnt lock the door, he also angry. And worse, he took his anger out on ME!
What I cant stand is he has hands right?! Cant he just bloody hell use his keys to open the damn door so MIL wont have to leave it unlocked and all this wont have happened.
And he really should be directing the "Why you never lock the door" to MIL and not at me!

When Andy came home I couldnt take it anymore had a BIG fight with him.
In our room I shouted "Cant expect me to sit in the living room with red carpet just to wait for him to come back and open door for him right?! I dont have to do my things? Dont have to EBM, dont have to look after baby ?!"
"Everyone thinks Im at home everyday shaking legs and not doing anything is it?? That's why you expect everything to be in order and neat & tidy?? One Tshirt cannot be out of place.. drinks must immediately finish and throw away? Then you jolly well go hire a God damn maid!"

I was so loud and dont even care whether his parents heard me.. better still if they did. Cant be bothered anymore. People always think Im a SAHM so I must be a tai tai living the high life.
I also want to sit down shake legs, slap on a mask, paint my nails and read Cosmopolitan while waiting for Hubby to come home from work everyday leh. Then everyday paint a different nail color to match different outfits. Who doesnt?!

So fedup with these stupid men.

Random Wednesday

After dinner, Andy & I went to T3 to collect our free pair of Swatch watches and to do some paktor.
We got the free watches because "you are one of the selected customers who spent more than $1200 on your credit card bill in a month and we would like to thank you for your support"
Muahahaha! Geez I dont even know we spent that much! And the thing is, we dont even see the $$, or where it went, for the matter.
For eg, in the past when I had my bag fetish, I could still see my $$ hanging in my closet. Now, dont even ask me. They must've been spent on the baby :)

When we arrived at the T3 carpark, we witnessed this accident involving 2 cars and 1 lady driver.
We quickly parked and got off to offer her help. She must've been really scared and grateful, because she was in tears and couldnt stop thanking us.
We didnt do much really. I being a busybody, went to help her take photos and bluetoothed to her so she can claim insurance. After that we took down the other vehicle's number and went to the information counter for them to announce for the car owner to come down and settle the incident.

After giving our help, we went on our ways to collect our watches and do a bit of window-shopping.
Something as simple as walking down the supermarket aisles is also very sweet if you are with your loved one :)
Best of all, you dont have to spend a single cent in order to be happy with the man you love.

Inevitably, we went to look at baby food - so many different types of jarred food, organic cereals, organic garden fruit juice, organic wheatstix, wow babies today sure are spoilt for choice.
I suddenly had a mental image of Toddler Adam looking at me eating my fav sinful, calorie-ladden Nutella and say "Mom, you're so shoddy!" Hahahah although Im pretty sure that likely wont happen.

Im so hopeless. I admit defeat. Everywhere we go we just think of him and anything, everything BABY! Even at the supermarket. Even at T3 when it's supposed to be our couple-time.
Even our families are guilty of that, indulging him in toys and what-nots.
Baby Adam has us wrapped all round his tiny fingers!

But one thing is definite - we cant love our boy enough.

Our parenting style for Baby Adam:
Andy & I never hesitate to cuddle him, kiss him and tell him we love him, even though he is happy on his own and not fussing. During afternoons when he is more wakeful than usual, I will carry him around the house to let him be involved in whatever Im doing (albeit with only one hand!), and I also play his Nursery Rhymes CDs and dance with him.
What's the point of showering your attention on your child only when he is misbehaving, yet he doesnt get any while he is being good? That's exactly why children became "naughty".

And regarding the rule that says "Let your baby cry for 10min before picking him up otherwise you will spoil him". Well, to us it's utter rubbish. We have never ever done that to Baby Adam because it will only mean to a poor helpless baby that he needs to scream at the top of his lungs before anyone will notice him, and we cant bear to do that.

Not to a baby so precious!

Long dayyyy

It's another of those hectic days for me today.
In the early noon, I brought Adam to see his new PD Dr Simon Ng at MAH together with my Mum.
He's a very nice and friendly doc, very patient and kind. Not the rush-rush kind which is the most important criteria I look for in a doctor.

I would like to share my unpleasant experience with a PD in Tampines (I wont reveal the clinic and Doc's names for privacy):

Went to see Dr Simon Ng at MAH (my mum's excolleague) because last Saturday during Adam's 6-in-1 and growth assessment, his Length perentile was only 25% (from prev 75%), and his Weight percentile was 50% (down from 90%). Naturally, being any parent, of course I was worried.

So anyway, went there today, the nurses at MAH are really very professional. They measured Adam properly using measuring tape and even minused 100gm for his diaper for a more accurate body weight, unlike the prev PD whose nurse not even nurse lah just clinic assistant, just anyhow measure him using a ruler and never even straighten his legs!
Even more annoying is that the PD didnt even pick up that drastic drop in percentile and insisted that everything was "normal".
I thought that was really unprofessional, and she didnt even assess Adam for his Milestone Development.. She asked "can your baby reach out for objects?" and before I could answer, in a nano-second, she answered her own question, "This age should be yes hor" then she just went on to tick tick tick Yes in the milestone column.

That's not the worst thing. For his 1st jab she wrote down 5-in-1 and during this recent Saturday jab she wrote 6-in-1. WTH?!?!?!?!!
I need to call up the Tampines bogus clinic tomorrow to verify which vaccination did she give exactly so that Dr Simon Ng can follow-through with Adam properly.

I've attached a pic to illustrate my point.
Red circles: written 6-in-1
Yellow circles: 5-in-1
Black arrows: indicate the same clinic Adam took his jabs

Anyway back to Dr Simon at MAH...

End result of today's visit:
Adam's length at 3.5mths: 62cm (85%)
Weight: 6.9kg (90%)
Everything is NORMAL and it's just the stupid Tampines PD miscalculated and didnt even pick it up. Absurd!
Make us made a wasted trip all for nothing. Well, at least I can set my mind at ease now, and my Mum also caught up her old friend. We spent 10min in Dr Simon's consultation room chatting and he even gave us "special price". My Mum should've recommended her friend to Adam earlier mah.. Alamak.

So.....
After the appointment, happy Mummy and happy Popo brought sleepy Adam to United Square for high tea and shop around their many baby boutiques.

Popo with chubby Adam looking bored and sleepy

Fell asleep on the sofa at Bakerzin

Headed home after that to get ready for my dinner appt with the gals.
"50% cancellation charge if no-show!" WAHAHAAHAH this Angeline was so scared everyone stand her up.

Dinner @ Carousel. As usual, when you put a bunch of women together, it becomes a market!
Carol told the receptionist to put us at a secluded spot because we are very noisy :P
I'm so happy that everyone is doing well now. Those supposed to get married are getting married. Those married ones (Siew Wei & I) have kids (we are both Mums to 1 boy each, aged 1mth apart only!) and Siew Wei even trying for No.2 now.
Carol is crazy as always... Kept asking me to "peep through that hole" and update her of my neighbour Hahahaha nonsense girl.

Bottom from left: Carol, Angeline, me.

Paediatrician

Baby Adam was delivered by Dr Wong Chun Ping Don at Mount Alvernia Hospital and he was assessed by Dr Lilian Lim Peck Neo upon birth and had his 2 subsequent followups with her as well.

Dr Lilian is the nicest PD one can ever imagine and ask for.. She is nice, gentle and patient to answer all questions and give parents reassurance (knowing us anxious parents).
Even though her clinic is always full, she wont rush to see the next patient.
There's nothing not to like about her. Maybe that's why her appointments are forever 3-4 weeks wait. o__O
I tried calling to book an appointment today and was told the next available slot is 4 weeks away.. That's after we come back from Bangkok leh!!

Now, my Mum recommended me another PD, Dr Simon Ng.
He is an old friend of hers, who used to work in KKH and now he has a clinic in Mt Alvernia.
The good news is, I managed to get an appointment for Adam to see him tomorrow for his general growth assessment and for my Mum to catch up with this old friend of hers and introduce him to her Darling Grandson.

I can also take the opportunity to bug him with my kiasu, kiasi endless list of questions Hehe

Gone fishing!

I put Baby Adam in this fisherman hat, not any other hat/cap, because Daddy A loves fishing and he wants a new kaki to join him!
New recruit: Chubby and cuddly, only drinks milk milk.

Good night my Precious Baby

These few nights Andy & I have been going out (not pak tor, but to keep our appointments), and by the time we come home, Baby Adam is already tucked into bed, sound asleep.
I feel so at peace when I look at my innocent baby sleeping soundly, without a care in the world.
Cant resist kissing him Goodnight and stroking his forehead.
Sometimes he awakens and looks at me groggily and goes back to sleep, other times he is so tired he doesnt care.

I've started Adam on these flash cards my Mum bought for him.
They say it's best to start when your baby is around 3-6mths because they havent developed any strong preferences to things yet and can absorb anything faster.
Im using the Glen Doman method and so far he is enjoying being flashed at HEHE
When I get my act together, I will DIY more Glen Doman style flashcards for him :)

When out with my Mum yesterday after sending Andy to work. There's a pushcart at Causeway Point selling quality baby stuff like: Carters rompers sets, Ralph Lauren baby clothes, Carters bibs, Osh Kosh etc :)

Kai loves his new piano

Look Mum Im composing music!!

Today I lowered Baby Kai's bed by one notch and fixed up his crib piano so that he could play and amuse himself.
Seem like it works! He likes his toy so much.. my heart swells with love to see my happy sunshine enjoying himself :)

He's due for his 2nd jab this Saturday. He's 3.5mths old this week. Time really flies!

Tasty treats

Dexterity and gross motor skills to a 3 month old Baby A mean he can grab anything within his reach and put it in his mouth!

Tissue papers are yummy... Chomp chomp..

How do you like my new mustache Mum??

His vocabulary has also increased tremendously. Now, he has added squeals and shrieks to his expanding vocab, along with his "Eh", "Oo", "Bah", "Gah"s, and that never fails to amaze us.

By the way, Baby A is a Bumwear convert!

It's a fact that disposable diapers are a leading cause of pollution to our delicate Mother Nature.
At home, I used to put Baby A in the normal cloth nappies but they dont hold pee very well and tend to leak (even with the nappy cover on).
After that, we put Baby A full time on disposables and that is so sinful and harmful to the environment, not to mention a big waste of $$.
That's until I found Bunwear and I think it's superb!

Read more about Bumwear: HERE
The difference between Bumwear and normal cloth nappies is that Bumwear holds more pee and the terry cloth is very comfy and gentle on baby's skin.
Cloth nappies stay wet once they get wet but Bumwear has an insert to hold the pee and keep the top lining dry.

I bought 4 Bumwear diapers and 5 inserts. Heavy investment! but worth it, what with the "Saving GAIA", Green Earth Day and all :)

Evening = Play time!!

Evenings are Kaikai's allocated playtime because the whole house will be bursting with activity, everyone's back from school/work.
Kaikai will be sitting on his rocker and watching MTV with Andy's brother, or just kicking and waving and babbling to himself or to whoever is talking to him.

Rocker:
One of the most value-for-money things Kaikai has so far, because it is portable, can incline/recline, has music and vibration mode (like massage).
It is a good place to keep him in while we are busy, yet we can keep an eye on him since it can be placed in the living room and kitchen.
It comes with a toy bar to hang overhead but we've removed it to ease carrying him in & out of the rocker.
Best of all, it's a present from Andy's Dad so Thank You Grandpa!

Bumbo:
Finally managed to buy one in Lilac.
Kaikai can sit upright in it and he enjoys his Bumbo time. When we bought it, it looked humongous! But after he sat on it, his thighs fill up the space just fine and he's so gonna outgrow it before maximising its lifespan.

Updates on 3 month old Baby Kai:
My precious baby turned 3 months old on 17 Aug 09 Monday.
It still leaves me in awe whenever I think of his birthdate, because when I was in my Week 37, my loved ones, Andy & I were still thinking of a date for my C-section (Kai was breech).
But on the fateful Sunday of 17 May, Baby Kai decided he's had enough of serving belly time and wanted to see the world!
Coincidentally, 17 May is also my brother's gf's birthday and Liping adores Baby Kai so much I hope my brother would marry her soon so she can be part of our family.
17th is also the date Andy & I exchanged vows and tied the knot in January. Maybe that's why our son decided to come out on the 17th too?

At 3 months old, Baby Kai's bowel pattern has changed dramatically.
He used to poop several times a day. When he was much younger, he would poo almost after every feed!
Now, he poops once every 1-2 days, the longest he has gone without pooping is 4 days which is today.. And when he finally poops, he unloads several hundred grams of shit!
And his poop stinks man... -__-
Andy & I were cheering our little man as the potent smell reached our noses, and we both turned to eachother with an expression which says "What am I feeding him?!?!"
Must be all the Chocolate buffet from Fullerton Hahahah!

Our routine:
Im sure every household has a routine for their babies and so do we.
Kai's routine (since he was 1mth old) is:
7am - 8am: Wakes up for morning feed then goes back to sleep

10am: Wakes up again for the start of his new day. Takes his daily morning swims in his tub.

11am: After bathing, sits in rocker because he will be very alert and happy after the bath. Then it's time for another feed.

Throughout the day he feeds, naps and plays either in his rocker, playgym or cot till evening.

6-9pm: Active play time and socialising time with the family.

9-10pm: Sponge bath, change into pajamas and gets his bedtime feed.
Then go to bed. Turn off TV, reduce stimulation. Lights out.

Another Girls Night Out

Proposed date: 5 Sept 2009 Saturday
Time: TBC with the girls
Company: The usual crazy gals

That'll be the week Charmaine is back from Perth, and before flying off to BKK (again) for even more shopping.
Andy booked tix for us to go BKK shopping as well - over the Hari Raya Puasa long weekend in September. Yay!

Bird's Nest

Mother-in-law came back from Indonesia today and along with her she brought back 3 bags of BIRDS NEST. WOW!

This is how authentic unprocessed bird's nests look like:

Very "nest" looking and fluffy, unlike the flat pieces we see in shops. The white color specks are actually flakes from the nest!
With so much free bird's nest, can use them to rinse mouth already Muahahaha

Happy Anniversary - Noman & Siling 150809

SATURDAY 15 AUG 2009

It was Siling & Norman's anniversary but Andy, Adam & I tagged along with Siling's Mama and sister too Heh heh.
Went to Sukiya for the shabu-shabu buffet.

Chairman Adam.

Halfway through our dinner, Adam started fussing and getting cranky in his stroller so we had to take turns pacifying him. Siling's mama is so good to help me with him so that I could eat.
She's so nice!

Finally, our little family shot:

I look damn tired and without makeup in all the photos. That's cos we had to bring Baby A everywhere with us for the weekend (due to Andy's mum being in Indonesia), and THAT is tiring as hell!
It's like running the Standard Chartered 42km marathon, minus the sense of achievement -__-

I salute those mums who can bring their babies out alone.. with stroller, diaper bag and baby and taking public transport. Woah!

Tai-tai's gathering 140809!

FRIDAY 14 AUG 09

It's our LOL gathering - Ladies Of Leisure, or Laugh Out Loud.. Cos we are so crazy we are always Laughing out Loud.. LOL!
Charmaine, Chris & I met up first for dinner at Siglap before going to Fullerton with Meena.
Chris brought her 8mth old Nat and I, Adam. After sitting in his stroller for a grand total of 10min, he started fussing and Nat had to investigate.
See how well behaved Nat is?
But thankfully when our food arrived, Adam fell asleep on his own in his stroller and we could all eat in peace.

This is also my first time bringing Adam out on my own, without my usual entourage of hubby and family.. Luckily everything went on well!

The Yummy Mummies with our Babies:

After dinner, Chris & I dropped our little ones back home and tucked them in for bedtime before making our way to Fullerton Hotel for our way way way-overdue Chocolate buffet!

Gold flakes for deco somemore... Very chi chi lor... But we this bunch of crazy women just kept on talking and talking that we threw away all our mannerisms hehe

Now for the unglam photos!

"Do you need to express yourself?" Meena asked me the moment she saw me.
Oh man my gals never fail to crack me up!
And it's wonderful to know Chris because I honestly dont know many women around my age who are mums, that's why I'm always bugging Chris about parenting advice.

We had so much to talk about - mostly about our MILs and babies, breastfeeding and Charmaine's colorful love life haha
After hearing about Chris' and Meena's MILs, I think we're so lucky to have wonderful MILs.
I mean, Andy's mum does my laundry and cooks cod fish for me everyday just because Im bf-ding, on top of the usual housework. Where to find sucha nice woman who treats me even better than my own mum? not that my Mum doesnt treat me well lah..
But then, even my Mum doesnt do my laundry lor. So I really thank my lucky stars and feel greateful every single day for just being well, happy.

Our Tai tai gathering ended when my breasts engorged and I had to go home to express myself.
It was such a fun and much-needed night. I love my gals so much man, and I had no idea how much I missed them till I saw them. *Muacks*

P.S... Loot from Charmaine's BKK trip:

MAC mascara, Naraya bag and pouches. I heart these because they are so pretty and I'm using the pouch for my diaper bag - to keep things like breast pump and teats because interior is lined with plastic. Waterproof and wont wet the exterior fabric. Brilliant!

PeanutStore: Soft sole baby shoes!

Was shopping for soft sole leather shoes for Baby Adam and I found these cutey super irresistable soft sole shoes!
I know he is too young to walk, but they are too cute and reasonably priced to resist.
Soft shoes can be worn when your baby is learning to stand or walk and you can be sure the soft soles wont restrict the growth of your baby's feet.

So as much as I like brands like Nike Baby or Crocs Baby, they have to wait till Adam is much older and that's where the soft soles come to play :)
- soft leather material
- anti-slip soles
- lots of delectable designs to choose from

If you have a girl, or are a shoe whore like myself, you will love the sweet girly designs like:

and of course more *wink* Hehe

And I have a sneak preview of the new stock that arrived. Dont say I never say hor.. Heh heh.
These new designs are not listed on the blogshop yet so if you wanna see the full list pls let me know.

Why soft sole shoes?
Soft sole shoes are shoes for infants and young walkers, up to 24 months old.
The sole of the shoes are soft and made of anti-slip materials to enable them to sense the ground beneath their feet and to grasp with their toes as they learn how to walk. The shoes are very light and made of leather to protect the delicate feet of the child. They are flexible and bend fairly easily in order not to restrict with the foot’s natural motion.

You can visit: Peanut Store.
And if you quote "Adam's Mummy" here's what you get:
- 5% discount for $50 order and above
- Free normal shipping or just add $2.00 for Registered mail (instead of $2.24)

Have fun shopping Mummies! :)

Excited!

Next month Andy is bringing Baby Kai to get his passport done because...

We are going to HK in Nov during the Hari Raya long weekend! YAY!
And to Melbourne in Feb 2010... Yipee!!

I'm excited because this will be the first time Baby Kai is going overseas and I'm more worried that he might be cranky during the long flights.
Should we or should we not bring him? He would be 5 months old then.. Hmmm to be decided again.
Most importantly, we are going.. Yay!

Edit to add: Andy's mum *might* be going back to Indonesia during the same weekend and we *might* have to bring Kai with us to HK afterall... hmmm... That means I might not be able to do as much shopping as I like.

[Andy's mum is Indonesian-Chinese which explains why she often goes back Indonesia, Andy's paternal grandparents are Baba and Nonya. That makes KaiKai a quarter Indonesian and a quarter Peranakan. Confusing? Nevermind. Here's the even more confusing part:
I have relatives from HK and Australia too. My HK relatives are my Kai's GongGong's (my Dad) Grand-aunt and cousins. My Australian relatives are Kai's Popo's (my mum) half-siblings.

At this point, I dont know how to calcaulate Kai's great-grand and grand parentage already :P

Mummy & Baby

I think Baby Kai Kai looks so much like his Daddy.. that's what everyone says, with a few exception who think he looks like me (cos he's got my eyes)

These are my treasured moments: just me and him against the world.

Cant believe he is turning 3mos in 5 days' time, and already he is wearing L size diapers.
His 6-12mos rompers and clothes fit him just nice now... As you can see, his face is almost as big as mine.

This weekend is gonna be a quiet one, with my mum away, Aunt LY going to BKK for shopping with Aunt Connie, and Andy's mum is going back to Indonesia for their durian and birds nest harvest.
I also wanna go and eat free birds nest... But Baby Kai has no passport yet!

A baby's conversation with God

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?'
God said, 'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.'

The child further inquired. 'But tell me, here in heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and smile to be happy.'
God said, 'Your angel will sing for you and will also smile for you. And you will feel your angel's love and be very happy.'

Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be able to understand when people talk to me if I don't know the language?'
God said, 'Your angel will tell you the most beautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and with much patience and care, your angel will teach you how to speak.'

And what am I going to do when I want to talk to you?'
God said, 'Your angel will place your hands together and will teach you how to pray.'

Who will protect me?'
God said, 'Your angel will defend you even if it means risking its life.' 'But I will always be sad because I will not see you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to come back to Me, even though I will always be next to you.'

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but voices from Earth could be heard and the child hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mommy.'

Malacca 080809

Met Siling & Norman at 10.30am and embarked on our road trip to Malacca... Satay Celup and Chendol here we come!!

On North South highway...

Upon reaching our 1st destination Makota Mall - some yummy icecream in the hot weather!

This is what Andy's been waiting for all along... The authentic Satay Celup!!
Look at the BIG juicy cockles and fresh prawns and the amount of food!

We devoured more than 100 sticks and it only costed RM$75.
After dinner, we went to Jonker Walk for the night market and we saw people peddling all sorts of things for sale including hedgehogs, snakes, chipmunks and scorpions.
I was very tempted to buy the hedgehog and I wanna name him Sonic. So cute!

After jossling with the crowd, we settled at Bibik Chendol House for some nice cold Chendol.
The gula malacca is simply irresistable!

What a good, fun trip we had. It was Siling & Norman's first time to Malacca and I hope they enjoyed it.
By the time we reached SG, it was already 1am and we still went to Siling's aunt's house for BBQ and drinks.
When we finally reached home, it was 2+am and Baby Kai was sound asleep. We both kissed him Goodnight on the forehead and I missed him terribly!
We've decided to bring him along to HK because I cant bear to be away from him for so long!
