More Xmas shopping

After much deciding, we finally went to BQMart today and bought a (not-so) small BBQ pit for our balcony.
At the store, there were gas grills, charcoal grills, electric grills.... tall ones, short ones... Why so many choices one?!

We initially only wanted a tiny portable pit which can be easily stowed away after the party but upon seeing so many different ones on display, not to mention with the help of the very enabling sales staff, in the end we settled for a Charcoal grill with side tables.

We even bought red wine flavoured wood chips and other accessories to go along.

On a sidenote, my staghorns are thriving. I feed my stags bananas + skin once awhile if I happen to eat them and water them twice a week. They practically live on air and are so easy to care for :)

Now all we need is a Xmas tree and lotsa bubblies! .. . oOo0oOO00O

Universal Studios SIN - with the Twiss'

A's mum is here in town so we decided to bring the kids and her out to do something touristy.

Daddy & son go on the dinosaur ride

Ole ole, ole ole~~~ I wanna move it move it~ Adam's FAVOURITE

We had a blast today! Could see the kids were really happy - played until sticky and sweaty also don't care.
We went on so many rides and saw so many shows and Adam's favourite has got to be the Madagascar boat ride because he wanted to go on it again and again.

We're having the BEST time of our lives every single day. Love love love it ;)

When the -Ber months are here....

you know that X'mas is near :D

Went shopping with my Mum, Hubby & our darling Kai.
That's right - our Christmas shopping has begun! It's gonna be the 1st Xmas in our new home ;)

Good night world, it's been a busy few weeks and I'm dead beat.
Yummy dreams of Santa!

Roadtrippin' it to Malacca. 09-2011

Last weekend we did a short 2-day roadtrip to Malacca driving my FIL's new SUV.
I nearly forgot how tiring the long hours on the road can be, but once we reached the foodie paradise it was all worth it.

We even visited an Aquarium at Pahlawan.

I've been stressed out of my f**king wits lately, rushing my final semester's school work, and being grounded, putting all my travel plans on hold. This trip served as a short breather for me to slow down and forget about books for a moment.
I hope I can pass, no need to get distinction!!
Loads of Peranakan food, satay celup, chicken rice balls... not much shopping but I'm not complaining because I had free babysitting from my Mum-in-law, what more can I ask for right? :)

Best o' all, Adam enjoyed himself lots!!

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

Before the night is over, Adam wishes everyone a happy Mid-Autumn Festival filled with mooncakes of all yummy flavours, colorful lanterns and a bright beautiful full moon.

Hook, line and sinker

I'm back from my fishing trip! Believe it or not, it's my 1st time going offshore to somewhere as far as South China Sea!

This is Hub's catch

And this is my fish HAHAHAHAH. Too small cannot be eaten so threw it back to the sea.

Then Hubby got a monster!

It's a loooooong fight!

Tadah~!

Our very experienced boatman

It was a great trip to Rompin with Hubby and his friend, Glen.
When I told my boss, she got worried for me and gave me strong SPF80+ water-resistant sunblock and asked if I want any anti-emetics but I bravedly said no to the medicine.

I usually would get extremely nauseated whenever I go on boat rides but this is the first and only time I didn't feel nauseaus and I even enjoyed myself!

Game fishing is a great sport, and here is a must-have for ladies who want to go:
- Bring extra change of clothes
- Bring windbreaker to protect yourself from sea water or peltering (passing) rain
- Sunblock, sunblock, sunblock!!

We ended the trip with seafood dinner at Mersing and made our arduous way back.
