Nerves nerves nerves

Okay... after tomorrow, I will be clearing my leave and am going to spend my birthday in HK.
After I'm back, I will be bidding Goodbye to my job.

I'm still undecided as to what my future plans are.
First things first:
- we need to collect our house keys in March
- School restarts for me again. My final year.
- Defect-spotting and reno works for our new pad should commence
- after that comes the major challenge: moving house!!!!!!!!!!!!

After all these are sorted out, we need to arrange Kai's school and logistics arrangement, which at the moment won't be a problem since I will be free to send & fetch him.
But honestly, if one day I ever do return to work, which I am sure I will, there will come the problem of Full day vs Half day childcare?? Part-time or Full-time work??
Kai is big enough now to enjoy attending school, and is developing increased independence away from us. There will come a day where my baby will be away from me for long hours and it will also be cue for me to go back to the workforce.

All these are still uncertain now. Afterall, it's gonna be a busy next few months.
We'll cross the bridge when we reach it.

Sunday: Dylan's 1st Birthday Bash

It's Dylan's 1st Birthday and we were invited!
Venue: YCK Grassroot Club Children's Playroom.
There's an indoor playground that's cushioned everywhere which makes it a safe and fun place for the children. A great venue for a kid's party.

Me carrying Cloris' baby Jerome and Kai reaching out to pat him.

Meiyee's princess Alecia.

Meiyee and Cloris' prince Jerome.

CK, Meiyee's hubby and Alecia.

My 2 boys.

Sharon, Thomas & Dylan the handsome birthday boy.

All together now!

It was a Mickey Mouse themed party as you can see. Lots of balloons and Mickeys everywhere.
It must be every parent's proudest moment when their babies turn one.
Hope Dylan likes the present we got him ^__^

I took a few sample shots with my new DSLR, because I'm gonna be the unofficial photographer for my niece Noelle's 1st Birthday party in March! Exactly a month from now on 20 March 2011 Sunday :)

Brekkie with Chris

Chris called me early this morning when I was still asleep and said she was feeling down, asked if I wanted to come out for breakfast.
I haven't had alfresco breakfast with a mommy friend in a long long time so I hurriedly jumped out of bed, had a quick shower and drove over to fetch Chris and Noah.

We went for everybody's favourite breakfast - can never go wrong with MacDonald's big breakfast and hotcakes.
Meet Noah - he is a bear with highlights in his hair.

I miss having a portable lil baby in my arms everywhere I go. Now, Adam is always in school and I haven't brought him out to meet my gal friends in eons already.

It was a short brekkie at East Coast Park, the weather was cool and it was tranquilly quiet on a weekday morning, which did wonders for Chris' overwhelmed mind.
Sometimes it is just perfect to hang out with friends, not having to dress up, forget about the mundane-ness of everyday life, and just chill, relax, talk over food and drinks. A short hour or two to allow eachother to grouse about our frustrations and let off some steam.

Final call: Cousin's home.

The final round of CNY visitings ended with visiting my cousin's home. What a short 15 days of CNY. Lucky for Kai, he received so many angpaos while his parents keep on giving. :P

Joel

Chloe.

Emily.

Noelle.

Old baby still insists that he wants to go into the walker.

Finally, wishing everybody a Happy Valentine's Day and endless good times spent with people you love.
I had a fabulous time this whole month, and I'm so looking forward to my HK trip next week.

Time flies. I need to pack Kai's and my bags, and then we'll be back with more!
Catch up with everyone soon! :))))
